The 20x40 heated saltwater pool is open from early April through the end of October and is great for lap swimming and games, as there is a deep end and a shallow end. There are 8 pool chaises and 3 umbrellas on the pool deck. The pool gets sun most of the day and is landscaped on all sides, providing 100% privacy, flanked by flowering hydrangeas & rose bushes. The weber grill, hot tub, outdoor living room & ping pong table are on the main level deck, providing a multi-level entertaining experience, in additional to privacy for those that need to spread out to different outside areas.
The heart of the house is the light-filled sunken great room with 16ft ceilings, multiple skylights & windows & sliders opening onto the pool & deck area. This area seamlessly flows into the dining room & kitchen. A wood-burning fireplace anchors the living room with a custom sectional large enough for 10 + adults and an 85in samsung smart tv with sonos sound bar. Board games & puzzles for all ages are provided to help bring the fun indoors on those cold & rainy nights.
Just outside the kitchen and living room is the main level deck consisting of the outdoor dining area which can fit 12 adults. We also have a brand new 5 burner propane weber grill (hooked up to the house gas line). Around the corner from the grill sits our outdoor living room, ping-pong table and built-in hot tub. The hot tub is open year round and is just outside the primary bedroom.
The kitchen flows seamlessly from the living & dining room, completing the open-concept great room. There are 2 wall ovens, a 36in 5 burner gas stove-top, built-in microwave, 2 coffee machines (drip & nespresso), toaster, electric kettle, waffle maker, blender and every other appliance/utensil needed for cooking, baking & serving.
The custom wet bar designed by us has a beverage drawer + ice maker/freezer + all the glassware.
Over the dining table, two blue PH5 pendants designed by Louis Poulsen hang from the 16ft tall ceiling. The dining table comfortably seats 10-12 adults and a 9ft long buffet completes the space, which contains all the modern platters & serving trays you need for indoor/outdoor entertaining + outdoor "glassware" for every occasion. This also serves as a great set-up for a buffet style dinner if the island is being used for additional seating. Our toddler booster seats can easily be added to any of our dining chairs.
The 1st floor primary bedroom suite has 15ft vaulted ceilings & offers immediate access to the pool, deck & hot tub area. It has a king bed, ceiling fan, 65in Samsung smart tv & Sonos soundbar + large walk-in closet with multiple dressers & a built-in work-from-home desk set-up, which could also be used as a makeup area. Every bedroom in the house has black-out roller shades.
The en-suite primary bathroom has radiant heated floors, a 2-person freestanding tub, a luxurious walk-in shower & double vanity from RH with a marble countertop & Waterworks faucets. Custom zellige tiles from Morocco flank the shower walls and the blue tile floors are the softest tiles on your feet!
The 2nd bedroom & full bathroom complete the first floor. This bedroom has a king bed, closet & dresser, 55in TV & garden views.
The full bathroom just outside the bedroom also has radiant heated floors, a walk-in shower, and a 36in marble vanity.
Upstairs you will find the junior primary suite. This is the 2nd true en-suite bedroom, also with a king bed and full attached bath. It has a 55in samsung smart tv & custom closet. The bathroom shares the same tiles as the downstairs primary bathroom.
Down the hall on the 2nd floor, you will find our 4th bedroom dubbed, "blue room," which has a custom-built queen bed nook that's perfect for all ages and is just a really fun room to be in. This room also has a day bed that can be made into 1 or 2 additional twin beds, making it a great kids room for a few kids, if needed. A custom closet complete the room and just outside the room is the upstairs hall bath, which is shared by the next bedroom, shown below.
The 5th and final bedroom in the house is one of our favorites. You feel like you're in a tree house in this room. It overlooks the front of the house, the pool and front garden. Light streams in all day. It has a king bed, our 2nd dedicated work-from-home desk space, large closet & dresser & a 55in smart tv. The bathroom for this room is directly next to it and shared by what we call the "blue room."
The 4th full bathroom in the house is shared by the 2 previous bedrooms. It's the hall bath on the 2nd floor and has floor to ceiling zellige tiles from Cle tile. A massive skylight floods this bathroom with picturesque light all day. Carrera marble floors and RH vanity with a carrera counter complete this bathroom. A beachy Serena + Lily pendant hangs overhead.
The interior 3rd floor stairwell bring you to the roof-deck with 360 degree views of the property & seasonal sunsets. We have a mini fridge + bar counter, creating the perfect atmosphere for evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. We love morning yoga on the roofdeck or just using it as a quiet respite for an afternoon nap or star gazing with the kids.
The house comes with 4 bright blue, single-speed beach cruisers as well as a tandem kayak and 2 paddle-boards. The harbor beach is a 3 minute walk from the house.
